Cookie Policy

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They help the site remember things about you — such as what’s in your shopping cart, whether you’re signed in, and which pages you’ve visited — so it can work properly and deliver a better experience.
True Natura is operated by Harker International (Private) Limited (Registration No. PV 00338032, Kandy, Sri Lanka). This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar storage we use, why, and how you can control them.
Your choices
When you first visit truenatura.com you’ll see a cookie banner at the bottom of the screen with two options:
- Accept All — allows essential, functional, and analytics cookies. Stored as
tn_consent=allin your browser’s local storage. - Essential Only — allows only the cookies needed for the site to work (cart, checkout, security). Analytics are skipped. Stored as
tn_consent=essential.
The banner does not re-appear on subsequent visits. To change your choice later, click the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page — the banner will re-open and you can pick a new option.
Cookies and storage we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the site to function. You cannot opt out of them while using the site.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
tn_consent | truenatura.com | Remembers your cookie-banner choice so the banner doesn’t reappear. | localStorage (until cleared) |
woocommerce_cart_hash | WooCommerce | Tracks cart contents so items persist as you browse. | Session |
woocommerce_items_in_cart | WooCommerce | Indicates whether the cart is empty (used for cache decisions). | Session |
wp_woocommerce_session_* | WooCommerce | Holds a unique session identifier so we can match your cart between pages. | 2 days |
PHPSESSID | WordPress | Server-side session token for checkout and account flows. | Session |
wordpress_logged_in_* | WordPress | Keeps you logged in across pages once you sign in. | 2 days (14 days with “Remember me”) |
wordpress_sec_* | WordPress | Protects admin pages from CSRF attacks for signed-in users. | 2 days |
Functional
These enhance the experience but aren’t strictly required.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_lscache_vary | LiteSpeed Cache | Tells the cache which version of a page to serve (mobile vs desktop, logged-in vs anonymous). | Session |
wpforms_* / cf7_* | Contact Form 7 | Stores form-validation state between page loads. | Session |
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
Loaded only when you accept analytics via the cookie banner. These measure aggregate site usage so we can understand which pages are useful.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors anonymously. | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics | Per-property session and pageview tracking. | 2 years |
IP addresses passed to Google Analytics are anonymised. We don’t pass any personal information (name, email, address) to GA. See Google’s privacy policy for how Google handles this data.
Third-party cookies
True Natura does not embed third-party social-media widgets, advertising trackers, or remarketing pixels. The only third-party storage involved is Google Analytics (above) and any payment-processor cookies set by Stripe during the checkout flow, which are required to detect fraud and complete the transaction.
Managing cookies in your browser
All modern browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies. See:
Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the site — particularly the cart and checkout. Blocking analytics is safe and has no impact on shopping.
Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal — a standardised opt-out signal recognised under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) — and you have not yet made a choice on the cookie banner, we automatically treat your visit as Essential Only. Analytics cookies are not loaded, and we do not show the banner. You can override this at any time by clicking the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
The older “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal has no agreed industry standard, so we do not act on it independently. If you prefer no analytics, click “Essential Only” on the banner or enable GPC in your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time — for example, if we add a new analytics tool or change a cookie’s lifetime. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
