Our commitment

True Natura is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including visitors who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, voice navigation, keyboard-only navigation, or browser zoom. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as a working standard.

What we do

• Use semantic HTML so screen readers can interpret page structure correctly.
• Provide text alternatives for product images and decorative imagery.
• Maintain colour contrast that meets WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios for body text and interactive elements.
• Ensure all forms (contact, newsletter, cart, checkout) have proper labels and keyboard focus states.
• Make the cookie banner dismissible via keyboard.
• Provide a “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page for keyboard users.
• Avoid auto-playing audio or video.
• Allow text resizing up to 200% without breaking the layout.

Known limitations

We’re working towards full compliance but acknowledge that some areas of the site may not yet meet WCAG 2.1 AA:

• Some third-party embedded content (Stripe checkout, Google Analytics) is outside our direct control.
• PDF documents (catalogues, lookbooks) provided via downloads may not be fully accessible — please contact us for an accessible alternative.
• Older blog post images may lack descriptive alt text; we’re auditing and updating these.

How to report an accessibility barrier

If you encounter any barriers using True Natura — pages that don’t render correctly with assistive technology, content that’s hard to read, or any other accessibility issue — please tell us so we can fix it. Email info@truenatura.com with the subject line “Accessibility” and include:

• The page URL where you encountered the issue
• A brief description of the problem
• The assistive technology you’re using, if relevant (e.g. NVDA screen reader, voice control)

We aim to respond within 5 business days and to resolve confirmed issues within 30 days.

Alternative formats

If you’d like product information, refund forms, or order confirmations in an alternative format (large print, accessible PDF, plain-text), email us and we’ll provide one at no charge.

Standards we follow

• WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the W3C.
• Section 508 — US federal accessibility standards, which we use as a reference even though we are not a government contractor.
• EN 301 549 — EU accessibility standard for ICT products and services, referenced for our EU customers.

We update this statement as we make improvements or discover new gaps. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
