The short version

The Ceylon Spice Discovery Box is sold direct at a fixed price with worldwide shipping included, to the countries listed below. Everything else on this site is a catalog: delivery windows, Incoterms, freight and import responsibilities for jars and bulk quantities are quoted through the SriLankaExport Trade Desk once you submit product, volume, destination and specification details.

Buying the box? The price shown includes shipping, so there is no estimate to interpret. Sourcing something else? Start with the SriLankaExport brief.

How our shipping works

Every True Natura order is sourced from our partner growers and artisans across Sri Lanka, consolidated at our Kandy facility, and prepared for international dispatch. Your order flows through three stages:

1. Processing (2–5 business days) — we verify your order, source the products, complete any required export documentation (phytosanitary certificates for plant material, where applicable), and prepare them for international dispatch.
2. International transit (7–14 business days) — your parcel travels by air freight from Sri Lanka to your country’s customs facility.
3. Local delivery (1–3 business days) — once cleared by your local customs authority, your parcel is handed to a local courier partner for final delivery.

Total typical window: 10–21 business days. We send tracking links at each major stage. Furniture and bulk orders may require additional transit time; we will quote a specific window before confirming the order.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs depend on three factors:

• Product type — spices and dried goods ship by actual weight; furniture and rattan items ship by volumetric weight (dimensional shipping).
• Destination — country, zone, and remoteness of the delivery address.
• Service level — standard air freight is the default; expedited options may be available on request.

The exact shipping cost and trade terms are confirmed in the sourcing quote. Do not treat True Natura catalog content as a final landed-cost or delivery promise.

Delivery zone

Destination availability depends on the product, exporter, import rules, and agreed trade terms. The Trade Desk will identify practical routes for the destination in the brief.

Outside the United States? We can usually arrange a shipment to most addresses in Canada, the EU/UK, Australia/New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, the UAE, and selected Middle East destinations, but quotes are case-by-case rather than instant-checkout. Email info@truenatura.com with your shipping address and the items you want, and we’ll come back with a per-order quote within one business day.

Customs duties and import taxes

For US shipments, parcels of spices and dried herbs under personal-use value thresholds typically clear US Customs and Border Protection with zero duty. We handle the commercial invoice and any required FDA prior notice on your behalf. In the rare event your parcel is held for inspection or attracts a duty payable on receipt, we will email you and walk you through it.

For international (non-US) shipments, the recipient is the importer of record. Local customs duties, value-added tax (VAT/GST), or excise charges may apply depending on the destination country’s rules. These charges are not included in our shipping quote and are payable by you on receipt of the parcel.

Typical regulatory considerations by product category:

• Spices and dried herbs — straightforward for US imports under personal-use volumes; commercial-scale orders may require an FDA Food Facility Registration on our end (already in place).
• Live plants and seeds — require USDA APHIS permits for US import; not all species are permitted. Contact us before ordering plant material.
• Rattan and wooden furniture — usually require a fumigation certificate (we provide this) and may attract duty as finished goods. International (non-US) buyers should expect higher landed cost.

Tracking your order

You’ll receive automated email notifications at three checkpoints:

• Order confirmation — as soon as your order is placed and payment is received.
• Dispatched (international) — when the parcel leaves Sri Lanka. Includes the international tracking number.
• Out for local delivery — when the parcel is handed to the local courier in your country. Includes a local tracking number.

Shipment status is provided by the selected exporter and logistics partners under the agreed engagement; True Natura does not operate a buyer order dashboard.

Delivery attempts and missed parcels

Local couriers typically attempt delivery once or twice. If both attempts are missed, the parcel returns to the local depot and you’ll be contacted to arrange pickup or re-delivery. Parcels held at the depot for longer than 14 days may be returned to us, in which case re-shipping fees apply.

Damaged or lost parcels

If your parcel arrives damaged or doesn’t arrive within the expected window:

• For visible damage: photograph the parcel and its contents before fully unpacking, and email info@truenatura.com within 14 days of delivery. See our Política de reembolsos y devoluciones for next steps.
• For lost parcels: if your tracking hasn’t updated within 5 business days past the expected delivery window, contact us and we’ll open a trace with the courier. If the parcel is confirmed lost, we’ll either re-send the order or refund in full.

Wrong or incomplete address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. We dispatch to the exact address provided. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we’ll contact you to arrange re-shipping at your cost — we cannot absorb a second international shipping fee for a delivery error.
